Salt Lake County is home to over 35,000 children and 18,000 single mothers living in poverty. Each single mother family living on welfare cost our community up to $20,000 annually.
At PHP, we believe the only permanent route out of poverty is through stable employment that pays a living wage. Our free Successful Employment Program teaches low-income women how to achieve their full potential in the workplace.
The six-month course combines workshop training, mentoring, coaching, employment referral services, business clothing referral services, homeless prevention counseling and more.
